Please mark your calendars and come if you can to these upcoming times of worship and fellowship:

This Sunday's pot-luck has been cancelled.  It has come to our attention that Exira will be holding a luncheon to raise funds for the school Prom.  We would like to participate so we have decided to wait on our pot-luck fellowship.  It will be rescheduled in April. Hope to see you there.

On Monday March 25 at 7:00 p.m., the Atlantic Evangelical Free Church is offering the opportunity to participate in a model Passover Seder presentation called “Christ in the Passover.” The evening will be led by Eli Birnbaum, from Jews for Jesus. In order to prepare for the evening, they need to know how many people will be attending. Therefore if you would like to participate in this event, please sign up next Sunday on the sheet located at the welcome table.

Good Friday Worship Service is planned for Friday, March 29th, at 7:00 p.m. in the barn at Bethany Farm.  We will remember Christ and the crucifixion and share communion together.

Easter Breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m. at Bill and Treva Turpin’s home.  Please come and fellowship before the  Worship Service.   The Easter Worship Service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

“Maidenhood, Marriage, and Menopause,” a time for women to gather on Friday evening, April 19, 6:00-9:30pm,and Saturday morning, April 20, 8:30-12:00am. This will be an intergenerational Titus 2 event featuring separate tracks for women and teens. There will be breakout groups for all ages and stages on a variety of topics, a slumber party for teens, (and a quiet place for other women to stay over if they wish) wisdom on Biblical womanhood from Nancy Leigh DeMoss and a panel discussion featuring women from both the Atlantic E Free Church and Bethany E Free Church.

Launch Day!

What a day!  Sunday, March 3rd, 2013, marked the first Sunday service at Bethany Evangelical Free Church.  What seems like a "Launch" to us, is really the fruit of many years of faithful service by those who resonated God's goodness here in the Brayton area.  Let us continue in worshiping God together: Loving Him, Following Christ, and Serving Others.

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching"
(Hebrews 10:23-25)
